Hi, I’m Simi. A qualified personal trainer specialising in pre and postal exercise and nutrition. I am also a certified C- Section Scar Massage Therapist which I’m super passionate about because I want to help women with their C-section scars and I know how hard it can be sometimes to reconnect with our tummies after the surgery. It has helped me immensely with my “overhang”, numbness and reconnection.

I have qualified in “All Natal” assessment as well which helps me to dive deeper into women’s pelvic and core health (Diastasis Recti).

As a mum of two, a 5 year old boy and 2 year old girl, I fully understand the challenges of recovery after childbirth. Both of my children were born via C- Section. The first was an emergency C- Section and the second elective due to my first experience in addition to having gestational diabetes with both of my pregnancies.

My journey hasn’t been an easy one and recovering physically and mentally has taken time and patience. It has taught me the importance of prioritizing whole-body care.

Today I feel stronger than ever and I am passionate about helping other women feel the same.

I founded Powellfit with a mission to empower women to take charge of their health in a way that feels sustainable and achievable.

The fitness industry often pressures women to “bounce back” quickly after birth, but I believe in taking time to honour your circumstances and setting realistic and meaningful goals.

I am here to support you every step of the way because mums are truly the best and they deserve to feel their best.
